How to complete your pilot test

We appreciate your participation in our pilot test and look forward to receiving your feedback. Together we can make our courses informative and entertaining!

NOTE: You must have received prior confirmation that you are in a pilot test group in order to participate. If you would like to sign up for a future test, please go to Pilot Tester Signup.

Thank you for your interest in participating in our pilot testing process. Because we must wait until all pilot testers have completed their assignments, we do not recommend using a pilot test course to meet CPE reporting deadlines. Please follow these instructions:

1. Read the book or publication.

• We do ask that you read the publication in its entirety, in a manner similar to what you would do if you were studying and learning the material, so be sure to allow enough time to do so.
• Do not just scan the reading material for the answers.
• The review questions should be completed and studied.
• Carefully document your study time.

We want to determine the time required for a quality learning experience so we can recommend CPE credit based on true study and exam time.

We suggest that you print out the exam to have on hand while reading the course materials.

2. Take the exam

• Use the Login link at the top of the page to login to the online testing system. Select the pilot test.
• The Review Questions Exam must be completed prior to completing the Final Exam

• Note any questions that are vague or very difficult to answer. We are looking for your help in noticing which questions are hard to answer due to ambiguity etc.

3. Complete the online Course evaluation/Independence statement.


4. Submit your resume (email, fax or mail), if you have not submitted one in the past to us.


5. Email any additional comments or questions you may have, including a list of any questions that were vague or too difficult.

Certificate of Completion

After all pilot tests have been completed, we calculate the average completion time and determine the CPE credit hours for the course.  We will then email you a CPE certificate which will indicate the CPE hour credit for the course.
