Have you taken our free one hour tax course yet? This gives you a chance to try our easy course system--and get free continuing education credit in the process.
Our free course is updated annually, so you can retake it each year.
When are tax courses updated?
We update our CPE courses as soon as the IRS publishes updated IRS publications. The IRS updates usually occur at the end of December or early the next year for the tax year just ended.
Why do tax law changes occur at the end of the year, rather than at the beginning?
- During 2011, legislators will be changing tax laws for the current (2011) tax year.
- Once the laws are finalized (often this occurs as late as December), the IRS begins releasing updated publications.

All courses currently offered on our web site are considered current and are fully accepted for CPE credit.
